Description

The Australian Institute of Management NSW & ACT is Australia’s leading management association. For over 65 years, AIM has been providing managers and the business community with access to a unique and comprehensive range of services including education and training, speaker events, seminars, forums, National Salary Survey, a renowned bookshop and library, publications, online databases and resources.

Our 2010 Directory of Learning and Development Programs offers you a great choice of programs that can help you to grow your career and to be the very best manager and leader you can be.

The new
PDF Directory is fully indexed and searchable, and features links to the AIM Online Calendar, making selecting and booking your course quicker and easier than ever before.

For 2010 we are offering over 100 short programs and 10 management qualifications. Our Short Programs provide immediate learning solutions in a number of flexible formats that cater to the diverse needs of individuals and organisations.

In an effort to provide relevant, applicable training, we are proud to also offer Desktop Training.

This puts AIM in a position to offer the most comprehensive range of business performance skills and IT related training services in NSW & ACT.

We have introduced three brand new initiatives for 2010.

New Behavioural Intelligence Programs from Steve Longford - In 2010, AIM is partnering with legendary behavioural and intelligence training program expert Steve Longford to offer exciting new learning pathways that tap into emotional drivers in the corporate environment. Prior to becoming a renowned business consultant, Steve enjoyed a fascinating background in law enforcement, counter terrorism and national security.

AIM Skill Sets - Skill Sets are an innovative new way to recognise a particular group of skills that do not make up a full qualification. Some people may not need a full qualification at this stage of their career; others may need skills across a number of qualifications. Skill Sets meet these needs as a group of units of competency designed to meet a clearly defined industry need. They are nationally recognised and provide formal recognition for those that require a flexible training approach. AIM is offering the Key Management Skill Set, the Enterprise Trainer Skill Set and the Sustainability Skill Sets. AIM can provide specific customised skill sets to meet an organisation’s specific needs.

Online Learning Programs - At AIM, we pride ourselves on the quality of our online learning resources. Our online content is professional, up-to-date and accessible when it suits you most. All participant’s need is a PC or laptop with an internet connection. These online learning resources are ideal for professionals who are time-poor or geographically isolated. Online learning through AIM offers excellent knowledge retention, flexible learning, cost effectiveness and motivation.
